Aon Broker Terence Bohan Recognized as a 2024 Hospitality Power Broker
Terence Bohan, Senior Vice President, Aon
Those that manage risk for the big gaming companies know Terence Bohan’s name very well. They also make sure they don’t lose his phone number.
“If there is a better property broker out there, I don’t know of one,” said one admiring risk manager who works for a large gaming company.
For another client with a property close to the San Andreas fault line, Bohan was able to bridge a coverage gap with the creation of an earthquake parametric wrap product that completed the full limit required by the client.
“We have 47 carriers on our property program alone,” the client said. “The amount of work he put into building our tower just astounds me,” the client added.
Another large gaming client was facing steep CAT limit requirements from its landlords. Bohan negotiated those limits down, which saved the client a significant amount of money. He then restructured the critical CAT layers in the program and instituted a structured property solution for the primary layer. This helped his client control costs, retain some risk and limit its downside in the event of multiple losses.
Being brilliant and having great connections certainly helps in being a Power Broker. But you have to be responsive too.
“He is super easy to get ahold of,” a client said. “We text constantly. He is completely transparent and keeps me looped in the process.”
