AIG Names Sierra Signorelli CEO, Americas and Global Personal Insurance

American International Group named Sierra Signorelli chief executive officer, Americas and Global Personal Insurance, effective Jan. 1, 2027.

“Sierra is a highly respected global insurance executive with significant relationships across the industry, deep technical experience managing complex businesses, tremendous market insights and a distinguished track record of driving growth and leading high-performing teams,” said Eric Andersen, president and CEO of AIG. “I am delighted to welcome Sierra back to AIG.”

In her new role, Signorelli will oversee AIG’s North America, Latin America & Caribbean Commercial Insurance businesses, as well as the Global Personal Insurance business, reporting directly to Andersen and serving on AIG’s Executive Leadership Team.

Signorelli rejoins AIG from Zurich, where she served on the company’s executive committee since 2021 and held senior roles including CEO U.S., CEO Commercial Insurance, and group chief underwriting officer. Earlier in her career, she spent 17 years with AIG in the Global Specialties division, serving as global chief underwriting officer, Specialty Lines, among other senior positions.
