Arturo Announces Two New Hires to Support Expansion
Arturo recently announced the appointments of De’Edra S. Williams and Tom Jones
to roles as vice president of customer success and vice president of sales, respectively.
In their new positions, both Williams and Jones will “help support Arturo’s continued expansion plans,” a press release announcing the appointments said. Additionally, both hires will work to improve the customer success and sales departments.
Williams brings 30 years of customer service and engagement experience to her new role with Arturo. Her experience in executive roles spans from SAP Ariba, Salesforce and Wipro Technologies.
Jones, who similarly brings an extensive background to Arturo, most recently worked for Maxar’s Earth Intelligence business where he was the director of commercial imagery sales.

Verisk Names New Head of Inclusion, Diversity & Belonging
Verisk announced the hiring of Dianne Greene as the head of inclusion, diversity & belonging (ID&B).
In this role, Greene will be responsible for facilitating and managing dialogue with Verisk’s ID&B leadership council, business leaders, employee networks and enterprise colleagues.
Greene brings more than 25 years of relevant experience to her new role with Verisk. She has worked extensively in crafting and implementing solution for various companies, most recently for ADP as vice president of diversity and inclusion, strategy and operations.
World Insurance Adds to Its Leadership Team
World Insurance recently hired three executives to broaden its leadership team. Andrea Paris was named COO, Brian Fitzgerald was appointed CFO and Laura McCarthy was hired as vice president of mergers & acquisitions.
In her role as COO, Paris will be responsible for fostering partnerships with World Insurance’s technology, HR and finance teams “to drive business strategy, standardizing processes and client experience,” a press release announcing the appointment said. She joins World Insurance from Willis Towers Watson where she served as the head of client service operations for corporate risk & broking.
In his role, Fitzgerald will be responsible for financial and accounting operation oversight. Prior to his appointment, Fitzgerald worked with AssuredPartners.
McCarthy will be primarily responsible for being head of World Insurance’s acquisition strategy. She brings 5 years of private equity and investment management experience to World Insurance and most recently worked with Carousel Capital, a private equity investment firm.

Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty Names Global Head of Aviation Claims
Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty (AGCS) promoted Cristina Schoen to global head of aviation claims.
Schoen first joined AGCS as a senior coverage counsel and has since as larger executive roles within the organization. Before joining AGCS, she served as the head of the airline claims division of the United States Aircraft Insurance Group.
Dave Warfel, North America regional head of aviation, said, “I am incredibly proud of Cristina and her contributions to the Aviation team through her insightful and hands-on claims oversight. She brings a tremendous amount of experience to the business and constantly goes above and beyond in every way to support our clients.”

Strategic Risk Solutions Announces Managing Director
Strategic Risk Solutions (SRS) appointed Maxime Schons as managing director, European finance and compliance, based in Luxembourg, a country in Northwestern Europe. Additionally, Schons will join the executive committee of SRS Europe operations as well as the SRS Europe board of directors.
Schons brings captive management, risk management, compliance and business development leadership experience to his role with SRS. He joins SRS from Risk and Reinsurance Solutions where he has served as the chief operating officer for the last 5 years.
