Mosaic Launches New Cyber Security Underwriting Team
In response to the growing demand for cyber insurance coverage, Mosaic recently announced the launch of global cyber security underwriting teams in both the U.S. and UK. Teams will be based in Chicago and London.
Mosaic also announced that within the underwriting team, Yosha Delong will serve as senior vice president and head of cyber underwriting. In this role, she will be responsible for managing the development of Mosaic’s cyber security products on a global scale. She brings more than 24 years of cyber lines management experience to Mosaic.
Additionally, James Tuplin has been named the senior vice president, head of international cyber underwriting. Bringing more than 18 years of underwriting experience to Mosaic, he most recently served as the head of cyber and TMT for AXA XL’s international lines division.
Brian Dusek joins the underwriting team as vice president, head of cyber underwriting. In his role, Dusek will ensure the growth of Mosaic’s cyber portfolio throughout North America. He previously served as the cyber product manager at Zurich North America.

Patrick Albrecht Named President of Associated Insurance Administrators
Associated Insurance Administrators (AIA) recently announced the appointment of Patrick Albrecht as president.
In addition to naming a new president, AIA plans to undergo a functional reorganization in which marketing, underwriting and claims teams will work closely together.
Prior to his new role, Albrecht, who has worked in the insurance industry for 20 years, served as the senior vice president of AIA. He additionally serves on the board of directors for the Wholesale & Specialty Insurance Association (WSIA) and is active in the U.S. Air Force Reserve.
On Albrecht’s promotion, AIA CEO Bill Dean said, “In the rapidly changing workers’ comp insurance climate, we realized we were not able to serve our customers as well as we needed from a static structure.”

Berkley Service Professionals Appoints VP of Underwriting
Berkley Service Professionals announced the hiring of Jude Sedliak as vice president of underwriting.
In this role, Sedliak will be responsible for the underwriting of primary and excess business within wholesale insurance. He will also oversee the profitable growth for Berkley Service Professionals.
Sedliak brings 25 years of professional liability underwriting experience to his role with Berkley Service Professionals, which includes serving as vice president for two E&S insurance carriers.
“Jude’s deep understanding of more than a dozen E&O insurance classes greatly enhances our ability to serve the complex needs of existing clients, while increasing our presence with new markets nationwide,” said Tom Rea, executive vice president of Berkley Service Professionals.
RENFROE Names Gerrad Brigham President
Gerrad Brigham has been named president of RENFROE, a full-service claims handling company.
Brigham brings almost 30 years of insurance services experience, with specific knowledge on the claims and adjusting processes, to his role with RENFROE. He worked for Eberl for 26 years and spent a decade as the company’s chief executive.
“I have known Gerrad for many years and know that his ethics and values align with ours,” RENEFROE CEO Gene Renfroe said.
“He understands what it takes to run and maintain a quality claims service organization, and he is excited to bring his knowledge and experience to work for us.”
Go Transportation & Translation Announces Vice President of Operations
Go Transportation & Translation (Go T&T) recently appointed Colby Cotta as vice president of operations.
In this role, Cotta will be responsible for managing Go T&T’s account management, compliance, information technology and product development operations on a day-to-day basis.
Cotta brings 20 years of experience to his new role with Go T&T. Prior to his appointment, he worked with Access on Time as its senior operations manager.
Current CEO of Go T&T Greg Engelmen, who has worked with Cotta previously, said, “Having worked together before, I knew Colby could hit the ground running.”
