TigerRisk Names Phil Bonner as Head of New Specialty Lines Business

TigerRisk hired Phil Bonner to lead a new global trade credit, surety and political risk business.

In this role, Bonner will be responsible for overseeing TigerRisk’s initiative of expanding its presence in both global credit and related lines.

Bonner brings over 30 years of industry experience to his new role with TigerRisk.

He most recently worked with Aon, where he was responsible for the success of its own trade credit, surety and political risk business.

“I’m thrilled to have Phil join us and lead us into this exciting product group. Phil’s knowledge of the global market is industry-leading. This important addition to our specialty product range fits naturally into Tiger’s business model,” said TigerRisk CEO Rod Fox.

Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty Appoints Global Head of Cyber

Scott Sayce, global head of cyber, AGCS

Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty (AGCS) announced the hiring of Scott Sayce as its global head of cyber.

In this role, Sayce will lead AGCS’s cyber underwriting business as well as the group-wide Cyber Center of Competence for Allianz.

Prior to his appointment, Sayce worked at AXA, where he most previously served as group head of cyber and group head of financial lines and cyber.

AGCS’s chief underwriting officer corporate Tony Buckle said, “A warm welcome to Scott Sayce — he is a leading expert in the field of cyber underwriting, with significant global experience and he will help drive this key part of our business forward for AGCS and for the wider Allianz Group.”

Guy Carpenter Announces Head Actuary for UK Non-Specialty Division 

Guy Carpenter named David Arthur as head of its UK non-specialty division.

In this role, Arthur will be responsible for oversight of “all actuarial activities undertaken within the UK business units,” as well as leading “the ongoing development of the related analytical and pricing capabilities,” a press release announcing the appointment said.

Prior to joining Guy Carpenter, Arthur served as the senior pricing manager for Brit Insurance.

LineSlip Solutions Announces Two Vice President Hires

LineSlip Solutions, Inc. announced the appointment of Christine Smith as vice president and head of production, as well as the transition of Patrick McLaughlin to vice president, focusing directly on product.

In her role, Smith will be responsible for leading LineSlip Solutions’ production and implementation team.

Bringing 24 years of industry experience, she joins LineSlip Solutions from Crawford & Co., where she served as vice president.

In his role, McLaughlin will “leverage his deep familiarity with LineSlip’s capabilities and clients’ needs to drive product innovation,” a press release announcing the appointments said.

He brings 15 years of experience to his new role with LineSlip Solutions.

IAT Insurance Group Hires Senior Underwriter

IAT Insurance Group named Jeffery Schnitzer senior underwriter for the group’s management liability unit.

Prior to his hiring, Schnitzer spent 15 years working for Travelers with his most recent appointment being senior account underwriter.

Additionally, he brings four years of management liability experience to IAT Insurance Group.

“Jeff’s background in management liability makes him a perfect addition to IAT’s growing ML Pro Plus division,” said John Passaro, senior vice president of management liability.

“We’re looking forward to what he brings to the team as we develop and expand our offerings in this area.” &
