Bill Webb Named Vice President of RT Environmental and Construction Professional

RT Specialty promoted Bill Webb as vice president within their environmental and construction professional (ECP) practice.

Webb first joined the RT ECP team in 2017 and served as assistant vice president. Since joining RT Specialty, he has become an expert in several policy forms, including contractor’s pollution liability (CPL) and architects & engineers (A&E). Additionally, he brings more than 20 years of professional liability insurance experience to his new role.

“Bill has been integral to the growth of our business, especially across the Northwestern U.S.,” says Jeff Slivka, president of RT ECP.

“Over the past four years, his in-depth knowledge of the construction marketplace and his ability to provide owners and industry professionals with risk management solutions align directly with our goal of becoming the industry’s premier environmental and construction-related professional liability insurance resource.”

Zurich North America Announces New Head of Life, Accident and Health Business Unit

Zurich North America recently appointed David Fike as the head of the firm’s Life, Accident and Health Business unit.

Fike has several years of industry experience, specifically in holding international senior positions, to his new role with Zurich North America. Prior to his appointment, he served as the CEO of general insurance Malaysia of the Zurich Insurance Group.

“We see significant growth opportunities in this important segment of our business, particularly around supplemental health and wellness/wellbeing,” said Zurich North America CEO Kristof Terryn.

“David Fike has the experience to develop innovative protection products and services, and this structure will allow us to take those solutions to market from a position of greater strength.”

Arbicare Names Aliza Krug as Clinical Director

Arbicare hired Aliza Krug, PA-C as the organization’s clinical director.

In this role, Krug will be responsible for Arbicare’s utilization and peer review processes to ensure their clinical quality.

Krug brings more than a decade of relevant experience to her new role with Arbicare. Prior to her appointment, she served as a physician assistant at the Georgia Institute of Technology, Stamps Student Center, Primary Care.

“Aliza helps break down the historic barrier between complex medical care and claims management for our clients,” said Arbicare CEO Alex O’Neal. “Her clinical expertise and passion for patient recovery has already impacted our clients and their injured employees.”

NFP Announces Two New Additions to Property and Casualty Team

NFP announced the appointments of Matthew Schott as managing director and Kevin Smith as senior vice president.

In his new role as managing director, Schott will co-lead NFP’s management and professional liability team along with Tom Sheffield, managing director. Schott brings over 25 years of experience, primarily in management and liability coverage, to NFP.

Smith brings over 13 years of experience to his new role with NFP. His experience has specialized in D&O, employment practices, fiduciary, crime, cyber and professional liability.

“We’re thrilled to welcome Matt and Kevin to NFP,” Sheffield said.

“Companies of all sizes and across industries face a variety of management and professional liability issues that demand specialized expertise. Gallagher Appoints New Managing Director of Manufacturing Practice

Gallagher recently appointed Michael Burg as managing director of the firm’s manufacturing practice for U.S. retail property and casualty operations.

In his new role, Burg will collaborate with other Gallagher executives to “expand the development, execution and growth of the practice,” a press release announcing the appointment said.

Burg brings over 15 years of insurance and risk management experience to his new role with Gallagher, which he first joined in 2005. He also serves as Gallagher’s area president and branch manager in Brookfield, Wisconsin.

“Gallagher is a leader in providing solutions that address the complexities and intricacies of the manufacturing industry,” said Eric Pan, practice group strategy leader, Gallagher. “Given Gallagher’s extensive footprint today and opportunity for growth tomorrow, Michael’s experience and deep expertise makes him the ideal leader for this dynamic business.” &
