EPIC Announces Several Leadership Appointments

EPIC Insurance Brokers and Consultants (EPIC) announced several changes with their leadership structure.

Tom O’Neil was named as president of EPIC. In this role, O’Neil will work directly with EPIC’s CEO Steve Denton with the goal of growing EPIC’s business across several platforms, which include risk in property and casualty and employee benefits. He previously led EPIC’s West and Northeast regions.

Additionally, Phil Moyles was appointed chief growth officer and president of financial services. In these dual roles, Moyles will be responsible for “driving innovation and organic growth” within EPIC. He continues to serve as the CEO of Vanbridge, which was acquired by EPIC in 2018.

“These decisions showcase careful succession planning and leadership depth across EPIC,” said Denton. “Further, they provide the best structure for innovation and continued growth, and delivery of all of our capabilities to our clients.”

Hi Marley Names Steve Kraus as Head of Marketing

Hi Marley, an intelligent communication platform for the insurance industry, recently hired Steve Kraus as the company’s head of marketing.

In this new role, Kraus will be responsible for overseeing Hi Marley’s marketing strategies and growth opportunities “by capitalizing on unprecedented demand for communications technology within the insurance industry.”

Kraus brings more than 20 years of software industry experience to his role with Hi Marley. Additionally, Kraus is a seasoned marketing and sales professional. Prior to joining Hi Marley, he served as the head of KANA Software’s go-to-market as well as the general manager for KANA’s customer experience management applications.

“Steve is the right person to build on our incredible momentum and take us to the next stage of our evolution,” said Mike Greene, CEO and Co-Founder of Hi Marley.

HOMELINK Announces Three New Appointments

Dave Kazynski, executive vice president, VGM Group

HOMELINK and its parent company VGM Group, Inc., announced several leadership changes. Dave Kazynski was promoted to VGM Group’s executive vice president.

In addition to Kazynski’s transition, Matt Waller was named HOMELINK’s president and Tera O’Hare has been appointed as senior vice president of HOMELINK.

In his new role, Kazynski will lead several VGM divisions as well as continuing to lead VGM’s corporate IT. Additionally, Kazynski will be responsible for continuing VGM’s efforts for EO2 Concepts, their advanced wound care device company.

Kazynksi has served as the president of HOMELINK since its founding in 1993. During his time as president, HOMELINK “experienced significant growth, becoming a thriving company of over 500 employees and a leader in its industry.”
