Resilience Appoints New International Chief Underwriting Officer

Resilience Cyber Insurance Solutions has hired Kyle Bryant to serve as international chief underwriting officer.

Bryant joins Resilience from Chubb Overseas General Insurance where he was responsible for the “strategy, development, and financial performance of the cyber and technology lines of business in international markets,” according to a press release.

“Kyle’s experience and outstanding success in building and growing a global cyber insurance business, as well as his relationship with brokers and his understanding of international clients’ risks and needs, make him an ideal professional to lead our international expansion,” said Resilience president, Mario Vitale.

“Cyber – like all lines – has its distinct elements, and as Kyle brings 15 years of experience in cyber underwriting, he has the combination of risk assessment, engineering, and transfer that clients and broker partners require,” said Vishaal Hariprasad, Resilience CEO.

Beazley Announces New Global Head of Cyber Services

Beazley has appointed Raf Sanchez to join its global cyber & technology management team as global head of cyber services. Sanchez was promoted from his role as international manager of Beazley Breach Response Services.

Paul Bantick, global head of cyber & technology at Beazley, said, “Raf’s unique knowledge and experience of the cyber threat landscape and optimum risk management practices will be invaluable as we develop another layer of protection for businesses grappling with the new, post-COVID cyber risk landscape.”

“In his new role, Raf will direct global risk management and incident response functions, playing a pivotal role in Beazley’s Cyber Ecosystem.”

AXA XL Appoints New Global Leader of Marine Liabilities Practice

AXA XL’s global marine insurance business appointed Stephen Clark as the new leader of its marine liabilities global practice.

Clark will continue in his role as practice leader of AXA XL’s North America hull and liabilities practice as well.

Commenting on Clark’s new position, Anne Marie Elder, global chief underwriting officer for AXA XL’s marine insurance business, said, “Since joining our team in 2017, Steve has done a tremendous job steering our North America marine liabilities book of business in the right direction.”

“Now, in his new responsibilities, he’ll put his 30 years of marine underwriting and management expertise to work for us on a global basis. Working with our marine teams in each region, Steve will help us drive consistency of our practices, products, and pricing across our marine liabilities business worldwide.”

Before joining AXA XL, Clark was vice president of ocean marine business at CNA.

Ryan Specialty Announces New Chief Executive Officer of RSG Underwriting

Ryan Specialty Group (Ryan Specialty) named Miles Wuller as chief executive officer of RSG Underwriting Managers, Ryan Specialty’s underwriting management specialty. Wuller will have a dual role and continue serving as president of RSG Underwriting Managers.

“Miles has been with Ryan Specialty from the very beginning, joining the company in 2010, and has done a fantastic job in helping build this great organization,” said Patrick G. Ryan, founder, chairman and CEO, Ryan Specialty Group.

One Call Announces New President

One Call has appointed Jay Krueger to the newly created role of president. Krueger’s responsibilities will include oversight of operations, specialty and complex network solutions and provider network teams.

Krueger has more than a decade of senior-level leadership experience in the workers’ compensation industry.

Prior to joining One Call in 2019 as an independent director on the board of directors, he was head of strategy and product development for Optum Workers’ Compensation and Auto/No Fault division.

Krueger also held the roles of executive vice president of strategy and integration for Helios and chief strategy and client services officer for PMSI. Prior to entering the workers’ compensation industry, he held leadership positions at Aetna and APS healthcare.
