Prime Health Services Names Jennifer Ryon Chief Operating Officer

Prime Health Services, Inc. recently announced the appointment of Jennifer Ryon as chief operating officer.

In this role, Ryon will be responsible for managing and promoting the company’s sustainable growth, while still focusing on a number of initiatives, including customer value, company expansion and client services. Additionally, she will ensure that employees of Prime Health Services align with company goals and culture.

Ryon brings over 15 years’ experience in the medical cost containment field to her new role with Prime Health Services. She most recently served as Prime Health Services’ chief revenue officer.

Matthew Azzara to Join Allianz as Regional Head of Management Liability Commercial

Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty (AGCS) recently announced that Matthew Azzara was appointed as regional head of management liability commercial in North America.

In this role, Azzara will lead and manage D&O insurance, employment practices liability and “fiduciary and crime coverage for all public, private and not-for-profit commercial entities in North America,” a press release announcing Azzara’s appointment said.

Azzara brings more than 14 years’ experience as product head, underwriter and broker to his role with AGCS. Prior to his appointment, he worked as the national head of private company management liability for Nationwide Insurance.

“With today’s highly litigious environment, clients are in search of distinctive underwriting solutions and swift execution to help protect their organization and brand,” said Joseph Caruso, regional head of financial lines, North America, ACGS.

He continued, “Given the priority of our MLC business in North America, I am pleased to welcome Matt who will use both his technical underwriting knowledge and industry background to maintain, service and expand our diverse portfolio.”

Mosaic Announces New Co-Chief Executive Officer

Mosaic named Mark Wheeler co-chief executive officer.

Wheeler is a seasoned insurance executive who is both a Lloyd’s syndicate founder and experienced underwriter. He joins Mosaic to work alongside fellow co-chief executive officer, Mitch Blaser.

Wheeler has extensive experience serving in a variety of leadership roles and brings more than three decades of experience to Mosaic. His previous roles include founder of Lloyd’s Syndicate 4000 and Pembroke Managing Agency and CEO of Ironshore International.

“Mark’s industry relationships and deep market knowledge are great assets to Mosaic’s highly specialized business lines,” said Dan Haspel, a managing director at Golden Gate Capital, Mosaic’s anchor investor.

Marsh Brings on Steven Capace and Bryan Salek to Lead U.S. Government Contracting Practice

Marsh hired Steven Capace and Bryan Salek to co-lead its U.S. government contracting practice.

In their roles, Capace and Salek will collaboratively lead the government contracting practice team, which is responsible for the “delivery of specialized transactional and advisory solutions,” a press release announcing the appointments said. Specifically, these solutions will aim to tackle the risks government contractors face, which include civil complaint and legal action.

Both Capace and Salek join Marsh from Willis Towers Watson where they served as executive vice presidents and co-founders of WTW’s government contracting practice. They collectively bring more than 50 years of risk management experience to Marsh.
