Global Aerospace Names New Group Chief Executive Officer

The board of Global Aerospace appointed Rachel Barrie to serve as group chief executive officer beginning in January 2022. She succeeds retiring CEO Nick Brown.

With nearly 20 years in aviation insurance, she is recognized for “her extensive proficiency in underwriting and innovation management,” according to a press release.

Barrie has been with Global Aerospace since 2007, serving in various roles including her most recent position as group chief underwriting officer.

“Rachel is the right choice to lead Global through its next phase of continued growth and drive the future strategy for the company,” said Global Aerospace Underwriting Managers board chair, John Wilkinson.

“Her deep market knowledge and expertise give the Board full confidence that she will continue to provide dynamic leadership for our customers, employees, pool members, and shareholders.”

Beecher Carlson Names New Chief Innovation & Analytics Officer

Beecher Carlson Insurance Services, LLC recently announced that Andrew Golub will take on the newly formed role of chief innovation and analytics officer.

Golub has more than a decade of experience in commercial insurance and risk management analytics.

Before joining Beecher Carlson in 2010, he was director of analytics for OnPoint Underwriting.

“By having Andrew focused on innovation, we are going to be able to accelerate the pace at which we can develop innovative products and solutions that will help our clients improve the way they identify, quantify, mitigate, and finance risk,” said Beecher Carlson CEO, Joe Siech.

MJ Insurance Announces New Vice President of Total Rewards Consulting

As part of its expansion of services, MJ Insurance has hired Julie Bingham as vice president of Total Rewards Consulting.

Bingham brings over 20 years of experience providing “analytics, consulting and advisory services to Boards of Directors, Executive and Management teams as part of global human capital and local regional consulting firms,” according to a recent press release.

She has held leadership in the areas of corporate human resources, compensation and rewards throughout her career. Bingham was most recently director of HR & Total Rewards at ADT.

“We are thrilled to take the next step to strengthen our Total Rewards toolkit at MJ with this talented new addition,” said Andy Vetor, executive vice president, employee benefits, MJ insurance.

“Julie’s background and depth of experience will allow us to continue to expand our capabilities and uniquely address total rewards consulting via an integrated approach to data analytics.”

IASA Hires New Business Development Director

Insurance Accounting & Systems Association (IASA) has hired experienced business development executive James Jenkins as business development director.

Jenkins  has over 20 years of consultative business development experience particularly in multi-family housing, hospitality, and association industries.

Most recently, he served as vice president of business development for Zonetail, Inc. For nearly 15 years, he held several leadership roles with the Asian American Hotel Owner’s Association.
