Zeb Holt to Succeed Peter Mullen as CEO of Artex Risk Solutions

Artex Risk Solutions announced a transition in its leadership, with CEO and co-founder Peter Mullen set to become chairman beginning January 1, 2025. Gallagher’s executive vice president, Zeb Holt, will step into the role of CEO (Designate) from July 1, before officially taking over as Artex CEO in January 2025.

Holt, who commenced his insurance career as an intern with Gallagher in 2004, expressed his enthusiasm for the new role. “I’m honored to step into this role and build on Peter’s legacy at Artex,” he said. “I look forward to leading the company into its next phase of growth.”

Throughout his career, Holt has held various brokerage and sales leadership positions within Gallagher and Artex. Prior to his current role as regional EVP – Florida, which he assumed in 2018, Holt served as Gallagher’s area president of South Florida. His extensive experience and proven leadership skills make him well-suited to succeed Mullen, who has significantly contributed to Artex’s success since its inception. &
