Lockton appointed Tim Fischer as Nuclear Segment Leader for the firm’s U.S. Energy Practice.

“Tim’s depth of experience in the nuclear sector—from his distinguished service in the U.S. Navy to his executive leadership within the industry—will be an enormous asset to our clients,” said Rob Hausler, U.S. Energy Practice Leader. “As nuclear power gains renewed attention as a reliable, clean energy solution to support long‑term electricity demand, Tim’s leadership will help our clients navigate both risk and opportunity across the value chain.”

Fischer brings more than 20 years of energy-sector experience spanning nuclear insurance, risk management, executive leadership and military service. In his new role, he will advance Lockton’s nuclear strategy by developing specialized advisory capabilities and delivering tailored risk and insurance solutions for clients across the full nuclear lifecycle. He will also serve as a client executive across the power and renewable energy sectors.

Before joining Lockton, Fischer served as vice president and chief risk officer for BWX Technologies, where he led enterprise risk management initiatives and managed complex insurance programs supporting global operations. Prior to that, he spent six years with Marsh’s Power & Utility Practice. Fischer began his career as a submarine officer in the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Louisville. &
