The CPCU Society’s annual In2Risk conference and conferment event occurs in Las Vegas in October and conference organizers are currently seeking proposals for educational sessions.

In2Risk 2026 will be held at the Resorts World Las Vegas from Monday, October 19 through Wednesday, October 21. The call for proposals for educational sessions at In2Risk is open until March 6, and submissions are welcome from any professional. It is not a requirement to hold the CPCU designation to attend or present at In2Risk.

“I’m excited to share that the In2Risk 2026 program will feature fresh ideas, unique expertise, and diverse perspectives through breakout sessions presented by leaders in the risk management and insurance community,” said Michele Coolidge, Chair of the In2Risk Committee.

“We encourage you to share your knowledge and talent. Join a group of esteemed industry professionals who have presented at In2Risk!”

In2Risk Supports Technical and Leadership Educational Sessions

This year’s theme is ‘High Stakes. Smart Strategies.’ Consider the theme and the following topic ideas when submitting a proposal:

  • AI, Data, and Predictive Risk: Using analytics to anticipate risk, prevent losses, and improve decisions responsibly
  • Regulation and Compliance: What’s changing, what it means, and how to stay ahead
  • Climate and Catastrophe Risk: Managing severe weather volatility, resilience, and insurability decisions
  • Legal Trends and Loss Severity: Social inflation, litigation patterns, and strategies to control outcomes
  • Cyber and Technology Risk: Cyber readiness, privacy, third-party exposure, and operational resilience
  • Enterprise Risk and Strategy: ERM, scenario planning, and risk governance that supports smarter decisions
  • Capital, Capacity, and Risk Transfer: Reinsurance shifts, alternative structures, and planning for volatility

Sessions are presented in many different formats, including panel discussions, workshops, interactive sessions, fireside conversations, and express talks (10-minute micro presentations) so session presenters can decide the best format for their content. Proposals can include a slide deck and handouts to be shared with attendees. Both technical and leadership topics are welcome at In2Risk, however content should remain educational in nature, rather than promotional. Presenters decide if CE credit will be offered at their sessions.
