Ryan Watkins Promoted to Regional CEO of Upper Midwest at Marsh McLennan Agency

Marsh McLennan Agency (MMA) announced that Ryan Watkins, formerly president of its Upper Midwest region, has been appointed regional CEO. Watkins will succeed Tim Fleming, who has been named chairman of the region.

“With his exceptional track record and deep industry knowledge, Ryan is the perfect choice to lead our Upper Midwest region,” said David Eslick, chairman and CEO of MMA. “I am confident that he will continue to deliver outstanding results for clients and colleagues.”

Watkins brings over two decades of insurance experience to his new role. Prior to his appointment, he served in various leadership roles at MMA, including president of the Minneapolis operations team and CEO of the Minneapolis office. As the CEO of the Upper Midwest region, Watkins will provide leadership to 33 local offices across eight states, overseeing more than 1,500 colleagues.
