Melissa Twiningdavis Appointed as EVP and Chief Administrative Officer at AIG
AIG announced the appointment of Melissa Twiningdavis as executive vice president, chief administrative officer, effective September 1, 2024. Twiningdavis will report directly to AIG Chairman and CEO, Peter Zaffino.
“Melissa’s demonstrated ability to transform companies will benefit AIG as we continue to drive operational excellence across our company,” commented Zaffino. “I look forward to welcoming Melissa to our leadership team as we advance our strategic priorities and position AIG for the future.”
Twiningdavis will be responsible for global administrative services, including global sourcing and procurement, real estate and facilities, and shared services operations. She expressed her enthusiasm about joining AIG, stating, “AIG’s progress to becoming a leading property and casualty insurer and top-performing global company is inspiring. I am pleased to join AIG leading the dedicated global administrative services teams to further strengthen the company’s capabilities.”
Twiningdavis brings a wealth of experience to AIG, having previously led Accenture’s global Supply Chain Operations business and served as President at Precision Castparts Corporation, a Berkshire Hathaway subsidiary. Her career began at General Electric, where she held various leadership roles over a span of 20 years. &
