Mark Pastorius Appointed as Executive Vice President, Managing Director at Alliant Specialty, Alliant Insurance Services

Alliant Insurance Services named Mark Pastorius executive vice president, managing director with Alliant Specialty.

“Mark has a history of supporting clients through aggressive growth periods, including risk management experience with multi-carrier roll-up consolidations. His experience will lend exceptional value to our specialized brokerage team in positioning clients to navigate their unique and complex risk management challenges,” said Peter Arkley, president, national brokerage, Alliant Insurance Services.

With an insurance career spanning over 37 years, Pastorius has specialized in complex risk program design and placement. His approach to insurance is centered around sustainable, long-term reduction in total cost of risk. He has extensive experience with several specialized markets, including long-term care, home health, construction, grocery/retail, manufacturing, hospitality, and transportation.

Before joining Alliant, Pastorius served as a managing director for an insurance brokerage firm, where he led the strategy for the firm’s largest book on the West Coast and ran the data and analytics department. He also held various roles in underwriting, risk finance, and risk management. &
