John Keogh Named Chairman of North America Insurance at Chubb Limited

Chubb Limited appointed John Keogh, president and chief operating officer, to the additional role of chairman, North America Insurance. The appointment follows the announcement that John Lupica, vice chairman and executive chairman, North America Insurance, will retire effective Dec. 31, 2025, after 25 years of service.

“John has been a long-time trusted partner in our journey to build Chubb into the company it is today. His contributions have been simply enormous,” said Evan G. Greenberg, chairman and chief executive officer of Chubb Limited and Chubb Group.

Keogh brings 40 years of insurance industry experience to his expanded responsibilities. He has served as COO since 2011 and president since 2020. Before joining Chubb in 2006, Keogh held several leadership positions at American International Group, including president and CEO of National Union Fire Insurance Company and president and COO of Lexington Insurance Company. He began his career as an underwriter in 1986. &
