Marsh Risk appointed James Crask to the newly created role of global supply chain practice leader.

“James’ appointment comes at a critical time when organizations face increasingly complex and evolving risks across their supply chains,” said Martin South, CEO of Marsh Risk. “He is a proven, strategic leader with a keen ability to help organizations anticipate, withstand, and recover from disruptions, and is the ideal person to lead this important role.”

In his new role, Crask will combine Marsh Risk’s existing supply chain insurance and risk consulting expertise while leveraging advanced analytics and technologies, including the AI-powered supply chain mapping platform Sentrisk, to help clients build resilience in their global supply chains.

Based in London, Crask brings more than 20 years of experience in risk management, resilience, and strategic advisory services across public and private sectors. He joined Marsh Risk in 2018 and served in various business resilience leadership roles before becoming global head of multinational clients, Risk Consulting, in 2024. &
