AIG has appointed Glen Browne as its new global head of accident and health, effective Sept. 3, 2025.

“[Glen] brings more than 30 years of global experience in A&H and retail distribution, with a strong track record of growing businesses and leading high performing teams,” said Jon Hancock, executive vice president and CEO of international commercial insurance and global personal insurance. “Glen’s leadership will be instrumental in strengthening AIG’s prominent position in the A&H market.”

Based in Zurich, Browne will lead AIG’s accident and health portfolio across its international and North America businesses.

This appointment marks a return to AIG for Browne, who previously held senior A&H positions with the company in Japan and Korea. He joins AIG from Everest, where he served as global head of A&H. Before that, he spent a decade with Chubb in executive roles, including deputy regional president for Asia Pacific.

“I am thrilled to be rejoining AIG, and I look forward to working with A&H colleagues to drive our growth momentum,” Browne said. &
