FM Appoints Johnell Holly and James O’Brien as Executive Vice Presidents

Commercial property insurer FM appointed Johnell Holly and James O’Brien to executive vice president roles leading key growth areas for the company.

“With their many years of driving strong results for our clients and FM, Johnell and Jim bring extensive leadership and operational experience to these key roles,” said Randy Hodge, FM’s chief operating officer. “I am excited to see what they will accomplish with their new responsibilities.”

Holly will lead FM’s United States and Latin America operations. He joined FM in 2001 as a consultant engineer and most recently served as senior vice president, global client service, sales and marketing. He will retain his responsibilities for broker relations and sales. Prior to FM, Holly served seven years in the U.S. Army, concluding his military career with the U.S. Special Forces Command.

O’Brien will oversee FM’s expanding specialty business, including FM Intellium, FM Solutions, and Velocity Specialty Insurance Company. He joined FM in 1989 as a loss-prevention engineering consultant and most recently served as senior vice president, Canada and specialty industries.
