J. Tim Query, PhD, is a professor at New Mexico State University (NMSU) in the Department of Finance. His research interests include uninsured motorists, risk management in a university setting, and actuarial issues and solutions. He has published 48 papers in academic journals and is a two-time winner of the Faculty Award for Outstanding Senior Research from the NMSU College of Business. Query is a past president of the Asia-Pacific Risk Management and Insurance Association and holds the Mountain States Insurance Group Endowed Chair at NMSU.
